With over 100 years of rich history, Dunhill is arguably the most desirable pipe brand in the world.

This is no surprise as Alfred Dunhill was well ahead of his time when he started making pipes. Combining the best craftsmen available with the finest briar, he also introduced pioneering quality control methods. Each Pipe had to pass around 90 steps to be graded good enough for retail.

The iconic White-Spot was also a masterstroke in branding. Although the origins of this design were purportedly to help the user know which way the mouthpiece fitted into the stem.

The pipes were not marketed in the early days, relying on word-of-mouth and despite being very expensive compared to competitors, customers in high numbers were drawn to their superior quality. 

We believe every pipe smoker should have at least one Dunhill in their rotation. Given that new Dunhill pipes generally start at £400 - these estate pipes are excellent value for money. 

Peterson‘s are the oldest briar pipe makers in the world and have a very rich history.

They continue to produce very high quality factory made pipes and have proven to be exceptionally popular with collectors and smokers alike.

The briar selection and craftsmanship is of an exceptionally high standard too. It’s not hard to pick up a 50 year old Peterson’s with plenty of use left in them - a sign of real quality.

By far the standout feature is the volume being produced yet this doesn’t appear to affect quality - the hallmark of leading brand.

We simply love them and believe that every pipe smoker or enthusiast should have at least 2-3 in their rotation/collection. 

Meerschaum pipes are made from the mineral Sepiolite and is often referred to as ’Seafoam’ as it can be found floating in the Black Sea.

Meerschaum does not burn and expels moisture due to its porous structure thus it is excellent for Pipe smoking.

Given its tensile strength, it is also suitable for intricate carvings - as such, many meerschaum pipes are incredibly ornate and in our opinion should be considered as works of sculptural art.

We believe that every pipe smoker should have a few meerschaum pipes - not just for the variety but due to their ornamental value. 

We specialise in sourcing cigars that have been nicely aged, allowing the flavours to mature and deliver a more enjoyable smoking experience.

To ensure you enjoy the wonderful maturation - each cigar or pack of cigars we sell are subjected to the following rigorous checks:

• Only cigars that we’d consider smoking make the grade. 
• All Cigars sold here are stored in our humidors and well seasoned for a minimum of 6 months. 
• We aim to avoid using cigar glue, however - if it is required, we will always mention it and include it in the description. 
• You can purchase in confidence from us. In the unlikely event the cigars are unsatisfactory then we will resolve this with you. 

Whilst Cuban cigars retain continued desirability, this is slowly changing as cigars made from many other regions have improved their offering so much that they are on par with quality, taste and presentation.

Our products benefit from being aged, thus giving the ingredients time to mature - leading to an enjoyable experience.

It is well known that matured tobacco is lighter, sweeter and has a deeper taste as the various ingredients age.

The vast majority of our pipe tobacco is sold sealed and in its original tin/wrapper.

We also always store for a minimum of 6 months in our humidors before listing an item as available so you can be confident that the tobacco is suitably humid.
